Now I’ve had some time to let it sink in, I’m so humbled to share that I was recently awarded Young Professional of the Year at the Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, 2022.
One of the judges said to me on the night, ‘keep doing what you are doing, you are setting the world on fire.’ ✨
I was once told that you can either be a good Mum, or you can be a Property Manager - it’s too demanding, you can’t do both. Well, we all know I like a challenge… So I opened my little business as a party of 1 (from my dining table in the middle of Covid), and here we are 15 months later - with an office, a talented team of 4, and finally finding that elusive work/life balance that makes it all worthwhile.
I said when I started out that I was a Mum on a mission to spark change in this industry and I feel so blessed that I have had such a brilliant place to start.
Here’s proof of what a little self belief, a touch of courage and the support of so many wonderful people can do. I wouldn’t be where I am without my amazing husband, incredible team and valued Clients - as well as every single person that has supported us since the start. I’m so grateful.
